Camino Club: 7 Bridge Walk

Balboa Park > Hillcrest > University Heights > Bankers Hill > Balboa Park

Discover one of San Diego’s most scenic urban adventures on our 7 Bridge Walk! This 5.5-mile route takes you through some of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods—Balboa Park, Hillcrest, University Heights, and Bankers Hill—all while crossing seven unique bridges, each with its own charm and history. Starting in Balboa Park, we first cross the Park Boulevard Bridge, leading us into the lush greenery of the park. From there, we take in the historic beauty of the Georgia Street Bridge, before finding inspiration on the Vermont Street Bridge, lined with uplifting quotes. Feel the thrill of the gently swaying Spruce Street Suspension Bridge, then enjoy the quiet charm of the Quince Street Bridge, a hidden wooden walkway nestled in Bankers Hill. The First Avenue Bridge offers stunning city skyline views, and we wrap up our journey with the iconic Cabrillo Bridge, the grand entrance back into Balboa Park. Whether you're a local or visiting San Diego, this walk is the perfect way to explore the city on foot.
